At Liftly, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Liftly, you agree to the practices described below.

Liftly collects health and fitness information you input, including workout history, body weight (if provided), and training load data. 3.2 Workout Share Cards

If you choose to use the Share Workout feature, you generate a summary card that you may share externally. Sharing is entirely optional and initiated by you. Liftly does not post on your behalf to any platform.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Liftly, our users, or the public.

3.4 Business Transfers

If Liftly is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent in-app notice before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting privacy@liftlyapp.fit. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Correction

You may access and update most of your personal information directly within the app. For data not accessible in-app, contact us at privacy@liftlyapp.fit.

5.2 Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data. Note that some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes.

5.3 Data Portability

You may request an export of your workout data in a standard format by contacting privacy@liftlyapp.fit.

5.4 Opt-Out of Communications

You may opt out of non-essential email communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by updating your notification settings in the app. You cannot opt out of transactional emails such as account security notices.

5.5 California and EEA Residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Liftly does not sell personal information.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and object to processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, row-level security policies on our database, and access controls limiting employee access to personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@liftlyapp.fit.

7. Children's Privacy

Liftly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact privacy@liftlyapp.fit.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The app may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through Liftly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Liftly after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
